What exactly is a Sports Physical?

The sports physical exam helps determine whether it's safe for an young athlete to participate in a particular sport. Montana requires that athletes have a sports physical before they can start a new sport or begin a new competitive season.

"Article II, Section (3) of the MHSA Handbook requires that a physical exam must be performed for each student in order for that student to be considered eligible for participation in an Association."
